Parent Partnership

As a Registered Nursery we aim to build a positive partnerships with all parents. Partnership working between childcare provider and parents is very important for children's learning and development.

Positive Partnership involves:

*two way communication including verbal and written

*regular informationg sharing about child's interests, needs, behaviour etc

*providing welcoming enviroment

*treating each other with respect

*providing advice and support to parents/carers

*being available and approachable for discussions regarding the child

What parents need to sign before bringing their child/children into Little Twinkles Childcare:

*filled in baby profile

*signed permission documents for outings, photography and medication administration

*singed contract & agreed hours of care

*fee payment a week in advance, unless agreed overwise to suit family's needs

What parents need to provide:

*nappies & wipes (if required)

*any nappy creams/sun cream the child may require (see nappy changing policy for more info)

*spare set of clothes x 2 (more if toilet training)

* child's comfort item & dummy (if required)

*outdoor clothes such as coats, shoes, wellies, sun hats etc (depending on the weather)

*child's daily diary

Items such as nappies, wipes, creams, wellies can be stored in the childcare premises in the personalised child box.
